Six Tips for clothing ideas to wear to your Headshot photography session.

1. Wear the color that flatters your skin tone. For example: A color shirt/top that everyone compliments you when wearing. Color can “catch the eye” of the viewer.

2. Avoid busy patterns, polka dots and bold stripes. A solid color works best so not to draw attention away from your face.

3. Wear full or 3/4 sleeve so that your arms don’t look too heavy in poses that have the arms crossed.

4. Wear clothes that fit your body type. Avoid loose or too tight of outfits. Too loose adds pounds and too tight keeps you from being able to move comfortably.

5. Make sure to iron your outfit to avoid wrinkles. Wrinkles may not be able to be removed nicely with photoshop and will incur an additional fee.

6. Layering adds to different looks. For example: If you wear a jacket and shirt combo, poses can be done with just the shirt plus shirt and jacket.
