When should you do a Newborn Photography Session?

It is suggest to have your infant photographed within the first 2 weeks after birth when the baby is still sleepy and still. As they get older they are more active each day and may not lay quiet in their poses which is part of them growing and learning.

Being one of 8 children growing up in a large family, I am use to being around babies. In those days, if you were one of the last children being born, you were lucky to even have a photograph of yourself as an infant. Lots of photos of the first child and the amount dwindle with each additional kid!

In today’s world the birth of a child is celebrated with beautiful newborn photography.

My Favorite Style is to feature the parents and siblings in these images. They represent the love shared by the family with the new baby addition. With that being said, we offer “In-Studio” in Marlton, New Jersey or “Life Style” Sessions at your home. Also artistic lighting and posing is provided for stunning images.

Our Studio features a “No Rush” atmosphere meaning that appointments are not booked “Back to Back” so we all have time to relax and enjoy the Newborn photography session.

We are a “Full Service Studio” offering Print Products to be displayed in your home as well as Retouched Digital Images.

I always loved photographing families in their home with a photojournalism approach. Seeing the interaction between baby and parents including smiles, frowns and tears is just priceless. Although many families opt for the sleeping newborn poses curled on little studio props, there is something to be said for the “little older baby” with such a personality!!! And don’t forget the “fur babies” who creep into the photos too!
